MARDAN (Web Desk):- Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday while calling out the former PM and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said that the people will decide the future of the country and the time for real freedom has come.
Addressing a rally in Mardan on Friday, he warned the coalition government to give him the date for fresh elections or “the sea of people that is coming to Islamabad will wash away everything”.
Imran Khan said that the he was not doing politics but calling the people to Islamabad for revolution and also urged the nation to support his cause.
The PTI chairman went on to say that he has never seen a coward like PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in his entire life, adding that the former PM cannot make decisions of the nation by sitting in London.
He thanked the people of Mardan for a warm welcome. He told the charged crowd that the aim of his visit is to prepare the people of Mardan for Islamabad.
People must participate in the struggle for real independence of Pakistan, he said.
The ex-PM said that the US had threatened Pakistan with dire consequences if the no-confidence motion against him would not succeed. He revealed he had informed every quarter concerned about the “foreign conspiracy” to act against it, but in vain. He lamented that he could not foil this “foreign plot” as it had the support of “local handlers”.
The PTI chief further said he knows who was part of this conspiracy and each face is saved in his memory. “I want Chief Justice of Supreme Court to form a commission and ask them to find out about the traitors,” he said.
Regarding Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s US visit, he said the Biden administration know where his money is and he [PPP chairman] will never speak against the US. “Bilawal will tell the Americans to give money or else Imran will come back, adding that the US will demand bases in Pakistan if it gave money.”
He said: “Bilawal will not dare to ask Russia to buy petrol on 30% discount but PTI government was talking about buying cheaper oil from Russia. Getting cheap oil and wheat from Russia would benefit the people of Pakistan.”
Khan maintained that the coalition government will have to do what America would say, adding that the US will ask Pakistan to give statements against Russia and in favour of Ukraine.
