LAHORE: The menace of terror outfit Ansar-ul-Sharia begins to loom large in Lahore following Karachi incidents; hence, Counterterrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab police started advance actions against the group.
According to media, the monitoring of students and teachers in three large universities located in Lahore have been kick-started.
The CTD officials said no traces of terrorist group have so far been found in Punjab, adding however, surveillance of campuses and monitoring of students are just precautionary measures.
The CTD officials said details of students living in hostels are also being subjected to scrutiny. –Web Desk
