The Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar (BUETK) is the most important specimen in this regard, which has fully engrossed the all attentions of (HEC) and authorities toward itself, as it is the most important Engineering and Technological institution in the region. The Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar is placed in the most important and heart city of Balochistan Province, which is the junction/ and the central city of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It was initially established in 1987 as the first college of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar, but soon getting the charter of university in 1994, four major disciplines have been launched initially, which includes Civil Engineering Department (CED) Mechanical Engineering Department (MED) Electrical Engineering Department (EED) Computer System Engineering and Sciences (CSE&S).
The University equipped with all modern facilities conducive to the achievement of academic excellence. In addition to experience and qualified faculty members, career oriented and skills focused curricula of different disciplines have been developed. The curriculum of the departments has been designed keeping in view the modern and current Engineering and Technological requirements. The graduates of these departments have unprecedented scope of jobs once completion of studies. This sort of major development will enhance the popularity of institution and will eliminate deprivation in the region and encounters the needs of nation, and further boosts the education in the region. Another unprecedented development of institution is the established of the Sub-camps of Balochistan University of engineering and Technology, Khuzdar at Hub, these kinds of efforts will augment the Engineering and Technological education throughout the region and the country. The reforms and developments inside the institution is valuable and highly applaud, providing innovation training, fascinating employees, and moving forward the institution and meeting the modern challenges and needs of impoverished masses and employees.
The Vice Chancellor and his counterpart’s extra-ordinary intellectual potentialities, vast knowledge, and research minded ideas will lead the institution to the highest of glory. Despite of inadequate financial resources Vice Chancellor of the institution who works day and nights for the outstanding progress of institution and wants to see it competing to other Universities of province and to raise it to the pinnacle, and also his lofty object is to boost the Engineering and Technological education for the development of nation and region. Beyond that the competent authority of institution has acquired wide fame and recognition as the most competent person, and won deep loyalty and confidence of the people by his utmost sincerity and devotion.
Finally, realizing the necessity of institution and the power of Engineering and Technological education is quite pertinent for viable and strong peace and prosperity in the region and to challenging mainstream discourses and narratives. If the current regime focus the uplifting and boosting education and reforms in institutions than in somehow the grievances and deprivation of impoverished masses would be eliminated accordingly.
