THATTA: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah Satruday stated that a commission headed by the Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan should be formed, which will conduct a fair and transparent investigation of the hotly debated issue of Panama Leaks.
Sindh CM was visiting the families of five Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers for condolences. The workers lost their lives in a traffic accident. Shah distributed cheques worth Rs. 2 lac for each amongst the families of the victims and also announced to give government jobs to the children of the deceased.
Talking to the media during the visit, Shah stated the Panama Leaks investigation should be conducted under CJ and further added that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan was leading a protest campaign and every party had the right to do so.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah Saturday offered condolence with the bereaved families of Pakistan People’s Party workers who lost their lives in a road accident while going to Larkana to participate in death anniversary of Zulfiqzr Ali Bhutto.
Talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said that loyalty and sacrifice of Peoples Party’s workers who met a fatal accident would be remembered forever and he was here to offer condolence and express sympathy with the bereaved families on behalf of Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
PPP is proud of its workers who always rendered sacrifices. The Chief Minister also announced Rs 200,000 as compensation amount and jobs on merit to heirs of martyred workers.
The CM said that PPP would continue its efforts for servicing the masses and elevate the standard of life of residents of less developed areas of the province.
Earlier, the CM visited Buhara town to offer condolence to families of Haji Abdul Latif Soomro, Haji Moro Soomro, Haji Abu Bakar Soomro, Abdul Rehman Tunio and Sher Muhammad Dal.
He also visited Ghora Bari town and offered condolence to Ghulam Rasool Jalbani, Mumtaz Jalbani and others on the sad demise of former MPA Haji Usman Jalbani.
Senator Sasui Palijo, provincial minister Muhammad Ali Malkani, MPA Rehana Laghari, former elected members Sadique Memon, Ghulam Hussain Memon, Ghulam Qadir Palijo, local cadre of PPP and workers were also present at the occasion. The Chief Minister also announced a grant of Rs 5,00,000 for Press Club Thatta.
